T-Sweeps LLC
Service Agreement
By authorizing T-Sweeps LLC to perform services at your property, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of Services
T-Sweeps LLC provides professional inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair services for residential venting systems, including but not limited to:
Chimneys and fireplaces
Dryer vent systems
Air duct systems
Furnace filter replacement
Home Safety Maintenance Plans
Minor fireplace and vent-related repairs
Services are limited to the work authorized by the customer. Any additional work outside the original scope of service will require customer approval before being performed.
Inspection Services
Inspection services consist of visual evaluations of accessible portions of the system unless otherwise specified.
Inspections are intended to identify visible deficiencies, maintenance concerns, or conditions that may require additional evaluation.
Some portions of a system may be concealed or inaccessible without removing finished building materials. T-Sweeps LLC does not perform destructive inspections unless specifically authorized by the customer.
Inspection findings reflect the condition of the system at the time of service only and should not be considered a guarantee of future performance.
Cleaning Services
Cleaning services are intended to remove normal accumulations of soot, creosote, lint, dust, and debris from accessible portions of the system using industry-accepted equipment and procedures.
Results may vary depending on the condition, construction, and accessibility of the system.
Cleaning services do not repair damaged, deteriorated, improperly installed, or defective components.
Air Duct Cleaning
Air duct cleaning includes cleaning of accessible supply ducts, return ducts, registers, grilles, and accessible trunk lines.
Some portions of ductwork may be inaccessible due to building construction or finished materials and may not be able to be cleaned without creating service access openings or removing building materials.
When necessary and authorized, professionally installed service access openings may be created and properly sealed upon completion using industry-accepted materials.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Dryer vent cleaning includes cleaning accessible vent piping from the dryer connection to the exterior termination whenever reasonably accessible.
Concealed or inaccessible portions of the system may not be included unless additional work is authorized.
Chimney & Fireplace Services
Chimney cleaning removes normal soot and creosote buildup from accessible portions of the chimney system.
Inspection or cleaning does not certify that a chimney or fireplace system is free from defects or suitable for operation.
If defects or concerns are observed, recommendations for repair or additional evaluation will be provided.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Provide safe and unobstructed access to all work areas.
Secure pets during the appointment.
Remove fragile, valuable, or easily damaged items from the work area.
Ensure utilities are operational if required for the requested service.
Disclose any known defects, previous repairs, or existing concerns before work begins.
Work Area Protection
T-Sweeps LLC takes reasonable precautions to protect the customer's home and belongings while performing services.
The customer is responsible for removing fragile, valuable, or easily damaged items from the immediate work area before service begins.
T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for damage to items left within the immediate work area that could not reasonably be protected.
Service Access Authorization
The customer authorizes T-Sweeps LLC to create service access openings in ductwork when necessary to properly perform the requested service.
All access openings created by T-Sweeps LLC will be professionally sealed upon completion using industry-accepted materials.
Existing Conditions
T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, improper installations, or failures that become visible during normal inspection or cleaning.
Previously concealed issues may only become apparent after soot, lint, dust, or other debris has been removed.
HVAC & Vent System Operation
Inspection and testing may require operation of the HVAC system, fireplace, or venting equipment.
T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for failures of components due to age, normal wear, deterioration, or pre-existing conditions that become apparent during normal operation.
Hazardous Materials
T-Sweeps LLC does not identify, test for, or remove mold, asbestos, lead, or other hazardous materials.
If suspected hazardous materials are encountered, work may be postponed or discontinued until the condition can be properly evaluated.
Minor Repairs
Minor repairs will only be performed with customer authorization.
Additional charges may apply.
If major defects are discovered, recommendations will be provided before additional work is performed.
Photographs
Photographs may be taken before, during, and after service to document system conditions and completed work.
These photographs become part of the service record.
Customer names, addresses, and identifying information will never be publicly shared without permission.
Home Safety Maintenance Plans
Membership benefits apply only while the plan remains active and are non-transferable.
Unused inspections, filter replacements, discounts, or other membership benefits do not carry over into future membership periods unless otherwise stated.
Membership pricing and benefits may be updated upon renewal.
Appointments & Scheduling
Customers are requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible for cancellations or appointment changes.
T-Sweeps LLC reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to severe weather, unsafe working conditions, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control.
Customer Satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is important to us.
If concerns arise regarding completed services, the customer agrees to contact T-Sweeps LLC and provide a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address the concern before repairs or corrective work are performed by another contractor.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, credit card, or other approved payment methods.
Returned checks may be subject to applicable fees.
Warranty
T-Sweeps LLC warrants the workmanship of services performed.
This warranty does not cover:
Limitation of Liability
T-Sweeps LLC's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
T-Sweeps LLC shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, concealed defects, improper installation, equipment failure, or conditions outside the scope of the authorized work.
Authorization
By signing below, the customer acknowledges that:
They have read and understand this Service Agreement.
They authorize T-Sweeps LLC to perform the requested services.
They understand that recommendations for additional work are separate from the services authorized.
They agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.
