By scheduling or allowing service to be performed by T-Sweeps LLC, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Services

T-Sweeps LLC provides Chimney & Fireplace Cleaning, Basic Visual Inspections, Advanced Camera and Drone Inspections, Dryer Vent Cleaning, and Minor Fireplace Repairs. All services are performed using industry-accepted practices and non-destructive inspection methods.

2. Inspection Limitations

Basic visual inspection

A Basic Visual Inspection consists of examining the readily accessible and visible portions of the chimney, fireplace, and venting system including the firebox, damper, smoke chamber, chimney exterior, and chimney cap when accessible. Concealed areas and internal flue scanning are not included.

Advanced Camera and Drone Inspection

These inspections utilize camera equipment and drone technology to view otherwise inaccessible areas. These inspections remain non-destructive and do not include dismantling components unless otherwise agreed.

3. Chimney & Fireplace Cleaning

Chimney and fireplace cleaning removes soot, creosote buildup, and debris from accessible areas. Cleaning does not guarantee complete removal of hardened or glazed creosote deposits or underlying defects.

4. Soot and Dust

Despite professional containment procedures, soot and dust are natural byproducts of chimney service.

Customers are responsible for removing or protecting valuables, electronics, and furniture in the work area.

5. Hidden Conditions and System Limitations

Chimneys may contain hidden defects not visible during routine service, including but not limited to:

Prior Chimney fire damage

Structural deterioration

Improper installation

Internal flue damage

T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for conditions that are concealed or not reasonably detectable.

6. Water Intrusion

Water entry may occur due to flashing failure, masonry deterioration, crown cracks, or missing components. Not all sources of water intrusion can be identified during routine service.

7. Roof Access

Roof access may be required. T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for damage resulting from normal access to roofs with pre-existing wear, deterioration, or hidden structural weakness.

8. Wildlife and Obstructions

Chimneys may contain animals or nesting materials. Some species are protected by law and cannot be removed while nesting. Service may be delayed until the chimney is clear.

9. Repairs

T-Sweeps LLC performs minor fireplace and chimney repairs only. Major repairs, structural work, or code corrections may require referral to a qualified contractor.

10. Access & Safety

Customers must provide safe and clear access to all work areas. Service may be postponed if conditions are deemed unsafe.

11. Pre-Existing Conditions

T-Sweeps LLC is not responsible for damages resulting from pre-existing deterioration, hidden defects, improper installation, prior chimney fires, or structural issues not visible during inspection.

12. No Guarantee of Future Performance

Service does not guarantee system performance, draft quality, or the absence of future issues.

13. Code Compliance

Inspection and service do not guarantee compliance with current building codes or manufacturer specifications unless explicitly stated.

14. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

15. Cancellations and Access Fees

A service fee may be charged for missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, or failure to provide access to the property.

16. Limitation of Liability

T-Sweeps LLC’s liability for any claim related to services performed is limited to the amount paid for the service.

17. Customer Agreement

By approving service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined above.
